AcoustiSound™ was founded in 2006, with the goal of providing world-class audio services to acoustic musicians and singer/songwriters in the Central Maryland region. AcoustiSound™ continues to provide some of the best services available, now concentrating on community and cultural festivals.

Geren Mortensen of AcoustiSound™ ran sound for us last night at Mad City and wow did it sound good. I always thought sound was just getting the vocals loud enough [so that] people could it hear it in the back and the guitar balanced with it. Geren brings [live sound] to whole new level of artistry. He really listened and added reverb or panned the sound to get just the right sound at the right moment. What an ear!

We’ve just returned from Estero, Florida, where we’ve installed a new project studio for Holy Mountain Music. The studio features a ProTools LE recording system, full-featured monitoring, a drum booth and areas for keyboard, guitar, bass, horn and vocal recordings. An adjacent space can be configured for larger ensemble recording.
